BUY MORE DELIBERATELY

An impulse purchase app that doesn't tell you what you're allowed to buy.

Impulse purchases often happen in seconds: a sale, FOMO, an upgrade or something that suddenly feels essential. REGRET intervenes at that exact point. Instead of only categorizing spending afterwards, the app helps before the buying decision. The Regret Score, Waiting Room cooldowns and your own Decision Memory create distance between desire and checkout.

REGRET does not replace financial advice and does not claim to predict the future. It is a personal decision system for people who want fewer regretted purchases and a better understanding of their own buying patterns.

FAQ.

The key questions about REGRET, the Regret Score, cooldowns and personal purchase history.

What is REGRET?

REGRET is an iPhone app for more deliberate purchase decisions. Capture a product, answer five short questions and receive a Regret Score with a clear decision signal.

How does the Regret Score work?

The score evaluates signals around your current buying impulse — such as how long you have wanted the product, why you want it, whether you would pay full price, whether you already own something similar and how expensive it feels to you.

What happens with a high score?

REGRET can recommend a cooldown of up to 72 hours. You decide again afterwards, giving a short-term impulse time to change.

Does REGRET learn from my decisions?

Yes. When you later say whether you bought something and how you rate the purchase, REGRET can use similar past decisions as personal context for future checks.

Is REGRET financial advice?

No. REGRET is a purchase-decision reflection tool, not financial, credit or investment advice. The final decision is always yours.

STOP. THINK. REGRET.

YOUR NEXT IMPULSE CAN WAIT.
